Sound, a center for music, creative arts and mindfulness, has announced is fall calendar of new and returning programs, along with upcoming special events.
Adult class offerings include Kundalini Yoga, Yoga for Abundance, Relaxing Ukulele for Adults, Introduction to Meditation, Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), The Art of Ease: Free-Writing and Meditation (with live music), Psychic Development for Beginners, Psychic Development II — Intuition Circle, and Angelic Communication.

The Sound Center for Music, Creative Arts and Mindfulness, in the historic renovated chapel at 31 Hawleyville Road, invites the public to usher in the holidays with a month of opportunities to relax, rejuvenate, and celebrate.
On Sunday, December 7, an IAM Meditation Technique Workshop will begin at 11 am. The practice offers is a powerful way to reconnect with one’s real self and experience the infinite vitality and innate joy that underlies life.

Jennifer Zulli walked through the old 1847 wedding chapel where she now runs the Sound Center, a creative arts and wellness center in Hawleyville. She noted the space’s past history — a Newtown resident had relocated the chapel from Brookfield to Hawleyville in 1900. She then turned her thoughts to its current use, which was previewed Saturday, August 9, during a Wellness For Your Spirit Summer Festival and Fair.

The Sound Center will host the “Wellness for Your Spirit Summer Festival and Fair” on Saturday, August 9, from 3 to 7 pm. The center is in the renovated Hawleyville Chapel, at 31 Hawleyville Road in Newtown.
This event will be the second for the creative arts and mindfulness center. Founder and Director Jennifer Zulli is looking forward to continued growth for the festival in the years to come.

“Listening To Dreams: Healing Your Life” will be offered at SOUND Center for Creative Arts and Mindfulness, 31 Hawleyville Road, on Saturday, March 29, from 10 am until 1 pm.
Cost is $55 per person.

On Saturday, October 19, from 3 to 6 pm Sound — a center for meditation and spiritual enrichment in Hawleyville — will celebrate its grand reopening.
Rescheduled from December 15, 2012, Sound founder Jennifer Zulli said she is excited to have this grand reopening celebration to welcome the harvest season and to honor the Earth and spirit. The center is at 31 Hawleyville Road.
