Rare Disease Advocacy Organization To Celebrate 40th Anniversary With Unique Broadway Event; Two Residents FeaturedFriday, September 26, 2014
NEW YORK CITY — On Thursday, October 23, the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance (TS Alliance), a rare disease advocacy organization, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a special event on Broadway featuring the world premiere and reading of the play Four Decades|One Community.
Newtown resident Martin Blanco will direct the play, and fellow Newtown resident David Wheeler will appear as a featured actor.

RIDGEFIELD — Created with the intention of bringing the Newtown community together in song, spirit, and common purpose, “A Concert Of Caring, Healing And Togetherness” will be performed at The Ridgefield Playhouse at 3 pm on Sunday, February 10. Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary), Dar Williams, Guy Davis, and Bethany & Rufus will join performers from Newtown’s Flagpole Radio Café to sing songs that follow the evening’s theme. Admission is free, but tickets are required.
