DANBURY — While cleaning out a decayed efficiency apartment in a barn at a Poverty Hollow Road property in Newtown in April 2010, Jordan Wright of Redding made a grisly discovery — the skeletal remains of a woman who had formerly lived at that property and who had been reported missing to police by her husband 26 years earlier.

DANBURY — The trial of John Heath, 70, who is accused of murdering his wife Elizabeth, 32, in 1984, is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 25, in state Superior Court in Danbury.
The starting date of the trial is subject to delay, if circumstances warrant.
The state alleges that Mr Heath of Bridgewater murdered his wife in April 1984, and then hid her body, which was wrapped in bedding, in a container located beneath the floor of a barn near the home where they then lived at 89 Poverty Hollow Road in Newtown.

DANBURY — Jury selection started last week in Danbury Superior Court in the trial of John S. Heath, 69, of Bridgewater, whom the state has charged with murder, alleging that he killed his wife Elizabeth, 32, in 1984 and then hid her body beneath the floor of a barn on a property at 89 Poverty Hollow Road in Newtown, where the couple had lived.
Ms Heath’s remains were discovered in April 2010 when the property’s current owners were renovating that barn and found her skeleton.

DANBURY — Jury selection in the trial of John Sherman Heath, 69, of Bridgewater, who is charged with murder in the April 1984 death of his former wife, Elizabeth Gough Heath, has been scheduled to start in mid-July.
