  • Women’s Business Council To Honor Llodra, Robinson & Hayes

    DANBURY — The Women’s Business Council of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce will present special Honorary Recognition to Newtown First Selectman Patricia Llodra and former Superintendent of Schools Janet Robinson at its 3rd Annual Heart of Women Award reception.

    The awards will be presented during a cocktail and dinner reception on Thursday, October 17, at the Ethan Allen Hotel, 21 Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury.

  • Janet Robinson Recognized By CAPSS For Support Following Sandy Hook Tragedy

    WEST HARTFORD— The Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS), a statewide nonprofit educational administration organization which represents public school superintendents, assistant superintendents, and other educational leaders across the state, recognized four educational leaders for their guidance and support in the wake of the tragic shooting which took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School on 12/14 during an event held on June 28. Among those recognized during the event were former Superintendent of Schools Janet Robinson.

  • Superintendent: Support Is There, School Will Resume January 3

    Superintendent of Schools Janet Robinson said on December 20, that school will begin at Monroe’s Chalk Hill Middle School for Sandy Hook School students on January 3, and support is available for those who need it.

    Thanks to the support and help of many, Dr Robinson said Chalk Hill School will be prepared for teachers to return on January 2 for staff meeting time in the morning, then to welcome interested family members with their students to the school in the afternoon.
