    We can’t begin to express our thanks to the thousands of you in the Newtown Community who brought your own inner light to our Lighthouse Festival on Saturday.  If you didn’t bring it with you, it appears you found a bit of light while there:  the smiles and joy on children and adults alike were omnipresent. 

  • Lighthouse Festival Set To Welcome Newtown’s Families On Saturday

    A 20-foot tall custom built lighthouse, complete with working lights, was set up in front of Trinity Episcopal Church late afternoon Wednesday, July 12. The lighthouse will serve as a beacon for the first public event of Ben’s Lighthouse, a lighthouse festival that will take place at the church on Saturday, June 15.

  • Custom Lighthouse To Attract Newtown’s Families To June 15 Festival

    Organizers of Newtown’s upcoming Lighthouse Festival are excited about the progress being made on a 20-foot tall, custom, interactive lighthouse being built for the event. The working lighthouse, designed by Duane Langenwalter of Thin Air, LLC, will incorporate symbolic references to the lives lost on 12/14 while shining a joyful light on the youth of this town.

  • Forget-Me-Not Cards The First Beacon Toward Upcoming Lighthouse Festival

    Volunteers of all ages recently gathered to create handmade invitations for a Lighthouse Festival to be presented on June 15 at Trinity Episcopal Church. The event will be presented by Ben’s Lighthouse Fund, and organizers hope to draw residents of all ages.
