Newtown High Track Teams Cap Successful Regular Seasons
Newtown High School’s boys’ and girls’ track and field teams concluded their regular seasons with home meets this week. The girls ran to the season’s finish line with a 123-26 win over Lauralton Hall and a 103-47 win over Brookfield on Monday to cap the year with an 11-3 record.

NHS Laxmen Confident And Clicking As Season Winds Down
The goals kept coming. Newtown High School’s boys’ lacrosse team had tallied 20 before all was said and done. The Nighthawks played to their standards before holding back and running out the clock during most of the fourth quarter to the tune of a 20-0 thumping of Bunnell at home on Tuesday afternoon.
