Paul Thomas Gaudioso, 45, of Seymour died suddenly at home on May 29. Born in Derby, on June 6, 1970, he was a beloved son of Pasquale "Pat" and Barbara J. White Gaudioso.wakeleememorial.com.

In addition to his parents, his sister, Michele, and husband Jeffrey, Zibluk, of Newtown; a brother, Matthew, and wife Marian, Gaudioso, of Seymour; a cherished nephew, Adam Jeffrey Zibluk of Newtown; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends survive him. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Alcine McCabe White; and paternal grandparents, Peter and Catella Ardigliano Gaudioso.

Mr Gaudioso was a 1988 graduate of Seymour High School and earned a certificate in welding from Kaynor Technical School. He owned and operated the CT Ground Maintenance and Service Co., a full-service landscape and tree service, for many years. He also worked as an employee for the S.P. Pruzinsky & Sons Co. and St Joseph's Manor.

Mr Gaudioso found peace in the outdoors and loved all animals, especially dogs and wolves. He was often found tending to his vegetable and flower gardens, rooting for the New York Yankees or UConn Basketball, or tossing horseshoes with friends and family.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 3, at 9 am from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in the Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street, Ansonia. Interment will follow in Mount St Peter's Cemetery, Derby.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, June 2, from 4 to 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to the Yale-New Haven Hemophilia Center, Department of Pediatrics, LMP 4087, 333 Cedar Street, New Haven CT 06510 or to the Seymour Animal Control Department, 115 Silvermine Road, Seymour CT 06483.
