Newtown Parent Connection (NPC) is inviting friends, supporters, and all local residents to join board members and organizers for the Third Annual Mardi Gras Gala.

This year’s event is being planned for Saturday, April 6. It will run from 7 pm until midnight at Fox Hill Inn, 257 Federal Road (Route 7) in Brookfield. Masks and black ties are optional, but suggested.

NPC will be honoring Christopher Lyddy during this year’s event. The former Newtown resident and former State Representative for Newtown has long supported NPC, including serving as a board member and chairman for the organization for the past 13 years.

The evening will include dinner and dancing and live and silent auctions.

Tickets are $125 per person if reserved by March 1. They will be $150 after that, with reservations requested no later than March 15. All proceeds will benefit the continuing work of Newtown Parent Connection Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to educate and empower the community in the prevention of substance abuse and to embrace families in crisis.

Tickets and additional information about the gala, and Newtown Parent Connection, are available by calling 203-270-1600 or visiting newtownparentconnection.org.
