Paper Shredding Event To Serve As Fundraiser

The Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Ladies Auxiliary invite anyone with papers, photos, folders etc that need to be shredded to join them for a paper shredding event on September 24.

From 9 am until noon at the fire company's main station, confidential files will be securely shredded for $10 per file box or paper shopping bag. Prices increase in $5 increments depending on the size of the container.

Office paper, window envelopes, glossy paper and file folders will all be shredded. There is no need to remove staples or paper clips.

Proceeds will benefit the auxiliary, a not-for-profit group that supports the fire company and other local organizations during the year.
