    Bonnie Benedetti Fusé, 72, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Joseph Fusé, died January 31, at home. She was born in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late James and Louise (Delvecchio) Benedetti.

  • Samuel L. Eisenbach

    Samuel L. Eisenbach, 96, of Bradenton, Fla., died January 26. He was born September 24, 1917, in Delano, Penn., the son of Walter and Emily Eisenbach. Mr Eisenbach moved to Newtown in 1965.

  • Antoinette Riccio Masi

    Antoinette Riccio Masi, 88, of Trumbull, died January 28 in her home in Spring Meadows at Trumbull, after a brief illness. Born July 11, 1925, she was the beloved daughter of John and Jennie Riccio.

  • James John Aurigemma

    James John Aurigemma, Sr, 62, of Indian Land, S.C., died January 26 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 9, 1951, in Bridgeport, and was the son to Concetta Dierna Aurigemma and the late Pasqual Aurigemma.

  • Wendy A. Gavaghan

    Wendy A. Gavaghan, 59, died January 22, at Greenwich Hospital. She was born April 25, 1954, in Stamford, Conn., and was the daughter of the late Florence (Millett) and Thomas J. Gavaghan.

  • Sara Leah Glickman

    Sara Leah (Lillian) “Lily” Glickman, 85, of Florida, died January 22. She was born in 1928, and educated in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. She married her high school sweetheart, Dr Maurice Glickman, after he returned from North Africa, where he served in the RCAF. They moved from Canada to Newtown, where Dr Glickman, who passed away in 1998, worked as a psychiatrist and physician. The Glickmans raised their family in Newtown.

  • Duane Carlton Turoczi

    Duane Carlton Turoczi, 70, of Newtown, died suddenly January 24, in his home where he resided with his wife of nearly 50 years, Carol. He was born in Danbury, July 10, 1943.

  • Catherine May Mesaric

    Catherine May Mesaric, 59, died unexpectedly January 18, at her ranch in Troy, Maine. She was born May 28, 1954, in Bridgeport, and was the daughter of the late George James Mesaric and Edith Ballou Lane Mesaric. Ms Mesaric was raised in Sandy Hook, and still had a very strong connection with the people of both Sandy Hook and Newtown.

  • Craig F. Avery

    Craig F. Avery, 70, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Antoinette (Toni) Amoroso Avery, died peacefully January 24, at St Vincent Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport December 16, 1943, he was a son of the late Raymond and Frances Southard Avery.

  • Helen Marie Kerecz

    Helen Marie Kerecz, 93,of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. and formerly of Milford, died January 23. She was born in Olyphant, Penn., October 11, 1920, to Michael and Dora Sawayda Dyki.
