Terry A. Barrett, 73, of Ocala, Fla., and formerly of Danbury and Newtown, died January 27 after an extended illness. He was the husband of Carol (Stone) Barrett. He was born on February 2, 1941, in Danbury, and was the son of the late Margaret (Fowler) and Arthur Barrett of Georgetown.
John C. Nagel, 75, of Sandy Hook died unexpectedly January 28 at his home. He was the husband of Joyce (Mahlo) Nagel. He was born in Bridgeport, April 28, 1939, and was the son of the late Rose (Riccio) and Robert B. Nagel.
Anne M. Senese, 84, a resident of Kennebunkport, Maine, and formerly of Newtown, died January 26 at her home, following a period of declining health. She was born May 9, 1930, in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of John A. and Mary Agnes Bowes Shea.

May Louise Peck Blanchard, 97, of Lake Wales, Fla., died peacefully January 4. Born January 22, 1917, in St Johnsbury, Vt., to Mary (Salmon) and George Peck, Mrs Blanchard had been a resident of Newtown for more than 30 years prior to moving to Florida two years ago, when health required a warmer climate and additional care.
John “Jack” Victor Polvere, Sr, 81, of Southbury, formerly of Bridgeport and Shelton, died unexpectedly January 15. He was the beloved husband of Doreen (Norton) Polvere. Mr Polvere owned and operated World of Bikes in Newtown for 25 years, before retiring.
