The Newtown Junior Women’s Club (NJWC) is pleased to announce it will host international comic bubble artist Casey Carle, the mastermind of Bubblemania!, on Saturday, April 27, at Edmond Town Hall. This soapy spectacular combines visual comedy, quick wit, and Big Band music with beautiful bubbles, creating an interactive treat for the whole family.
Mr Carle’s unique skills and quick wit have astonished audiences since the late 1980s. Mr Carle mixes science, art, and humor in his shows. He has performed on television and at the Smithsonian Institution. He won an international bubblers competition in Japan in 2005 and serves as Bubble Consultant to Cirque du Soleil.
In 1987, Mr Carle began bubbling professionally while performing for Ringling Brothers Circus. After running away from the circus, Mr Carle expanded his bubble skills into a solo act that is a full-time occupation.
His Bubblemania! stage show will amaze and amuse all ages with family-friendly comedy, toe-tapping music and colorful, brilliant bubbling. The show is suitable for all ages.
The program will begin at 1 pm. Tickets are $8 each, or four for $30, and, are available at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, and Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street. Ticket requests and any questions can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Funds raised from this show will be used to host arts and crafts workshops, as well as to benefit the recently established Ben’s Bells Project of Newtown.
