Imagine Project Workshops At The SHACK During Spring Break Week

The Brooklyn-based Imagine Project will present a free theater workshop for Sandy Hook and Newtown children ages 5-18 during spring break week, April 14-19, from 1 to 4 pm each day, at The Sandy Hook Arts Center for Kids (SHACK).

The Imagine Project Inc, a not for profit 501(c)(3) corporation, was founded by Bill Bartlett in 1992 and is dedicated to nurturing a child’s creativity through the arts.

Through a series of phone calls, SHACK Founder and Director Wendy Mitchell was connected with Mr Bartlett, "someone whose mission closely lined up with that of the SHACK," Ms Mitchell recently posted on the art center's website.  The two have teamed up to bring their vision to the Sandy Hook community through performing and visual arts.

SHACK is at 100 Church Hill Road, Suite 104. Call 203-304-9555 for details; visit www.sandyhookartscenter.org for details on this and other upcoming programs.
