  • Monsignor Weiss To Be Honored At ARC’s 5th Annual "Keep The Faith" Celebration

    The Association of Religious Communities (ARC) has announced it will be honoring Monsignor Robert Weiss, the pastor of St Rose of Lima Church, during this year’s Keep The Faith Celebration. because he has been ‘keeping the faith’ under horrific conditions,” said the Reverend Phyllis J. (P.J.) Leopold, executive director of ARC. “He went quickly to the scene on December 14 and also buried eight of the children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary. Monsignor Weiss is known for having a good sense of humor, but can you imagine how much grief he too must be carrying."

    Thursday, May 2, will mark the nation’s 62nd observance of the National Day of Prayer. A Christian observance of the 2013 NDP will be held Thursday, May 2, in The Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street. The main event will run from 6 to 7 pm. It will be preceded by music starting at 5 pm. All are welcome who would like to pray for the nation and our town together in a biblical context.
