Chester W. Seavey

Chester W. Seavey, 91, of Southbury, and previously a longtime resident of Newtown, died May 23 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Veronica (Willey) Seavey. He was born in Livermore Falls, Maine, December 13, 1922, a son of Bulah (Alden) and William  Seavey.

Mr Seavey served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War.

He was truck driver for the Specter Freight Company for many years and then was employed as a security guard.

In addition to his wife, survivors include several children.

Interment with full military honors took place at the Newtown Village Cemetery, May 29.

The Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, served the family.
