Anna Lynn Orr

Anna (Lynn) Orr, 96, died peacefully, February 28, at Milford Health Care Center. She was born on September 11, 1916, in Centralia, Penn., a daughter of Anastasia and John Lynn. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Orr and beloved mother of the late Joanne Orr.

Mrs Orr leaves four devoted children, Susan Orr, and husband Cameron Gilchrist, of Newtown, Carolyn Benlock, and husband Mike, of Milford, Janice Orr of Shelton, and Thomas Orr of Victor, N.Y. Four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; a brother, Peter Lynn, and his wife Eleanor, of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews survive Mrs Orr. In addition to her husband and one daughter, she was predeceased by a sister and seven brothers.

Mrs Orr's family would like to thank the staff at Milford Health Care for their outstanding care of their mother.

A prayer service will take place Tuesday, March 5,  at 10:30 am, in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford. Friends may call prior to the service, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Milford Health Care Center, 195 Platt Street, Milford CT 06460 or Christ The Redeemer Church, 325 Oronoque Road, Milford CT 06460 would be appreciated.
