Gifts Of Compassion And Caring

To the Editor:
I had the good fortune to attend the program held at Congregation Adeth on March 6th. It was a won-derful experience for me and I would like to thank the Sandy Hook Promise for coordinating the event, the panelists who graciously offered their own personal stories, and the Buddhist perspective on heal-ing and violence, for the warm welcoming offered by Rabbi Praver, and the hospitality and delicious goodies that I enjoyed after the program.
Of all the gifts that Newtown has received since December 14th, for me, the most precious one has been the compassion and caring that is given by the citizens of our town. Your strength inspires me.
Peace to all,
Sheila Cole
