Newtown Continuing Education announced this week that the following upcoming courses have limited openings still available:
The “Excel 2010” three-class course, offered on Mondays starting on April 1 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, for a fee of $89 will enable attendees to learn about the latest version of Microsoft Excel, the most popular spreadsheet software product on the market.
The “Social Media” two-class course, offered on Wednesdays starting on April3 from 6:30 to 8 pm for a $49 fee, will offer the chance to learn how kids, parents, grandparents, and businesses use various social networking sites to their advantage.
The “Better Living, Living Longer — Helping Women Secure Their Financial Futures” one-class course, offered on April 2 from 7 to 9 pm for a $29 fee, will offer ten proven strategies to help secure a financial future and make life simpler.
The “Special Needs: Caring for Loved Ones Under Unique Circumstances” one-class course, offered on April 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for a $29 fee, will offer lessons in caring for a loved on with special needs. Financial issues, government programs, and reviews of various planning tools will be offered.
The “Successful Aging” one-class course, to be offered on April 23 from 6:30 to 8 pm for a $29 fee, is designed for baby boomers and family members to cover components necessary to achieve a “Successful Aging” lifestyle.
The “Memoir Writing” four-class course, offered on Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm starting on April 22 for a fee of $79, will offer lessons in writing down memories for children, grandchildren, and further generations.
