Leaps of Faith Disabled Skiers will host a Boating License Course on Saturday, April 13, from 8 am to 4 pm, at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street in Newtown. Completion of the course will qualify registrants for their Connecticut Boating & Personal Water Craft License.
Course instruction will be given by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Registration is $65 before April 10, $70 after, and is open to individuals who are 12 years and older. Lunch, snacks and refreshments will be served.
“Last year’s boating license course set a record attendance level for the state of Connecticut,” says Joel Zeisler, president of the Sandy Hook-based Leaps of Faith Disabled Skiers. “We attribute this success to having the best instructors, our central location, and our reasonable rate for the course. We encourage early registration.”
All proceeds will benefit Leaps of Faith Disabled Skiers’ adaptive sports programs.
To register, contact Mr Zeisler at 203-426-0666 or download the registration form from their website, leapsoffaithwaterskiers.com.
