New Support Group: ‘Good Grief’

DANBURY — The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury is now offering a four-week evening group that will explore ways to experience and work through grief over lost relationships, lost dreams, lost plans. The first session meets Wednesday, March 4, from 7 to 9 pm, in the upstairs Community Room at 2 West Street.

The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury provides free and confidential services to prevent or lessen the trauma associated with domestic violence, sexual assault, and other major life transitions to thousands of women, children, and men annually.

The programs of the Women’s Center are supported by state and local government, area United Way agencies and the people and businesses in the communities it serves: Newtown, Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Warren, and Washington.
