Once a year the stable on St Rose Parish grounds comes alive as live animals and people portraying Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, shepherds, wisemen, and angels fill the stable with song and scripture as they re-enact the first Christmas. This is an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of God’s gift to humanity: the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ. This year’s Living Nativity is planned for Saturday, December 12, beginning at 6:30 pm (immediately following 5:30 Mass). All are also invited to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies in the new Holy Innocents Faith Formation Center following the presentation. St Rose Parish is at 46 Church Hill Road.
