High Tea & Author Program With Nan Rossiter, February 13 At Newtown Country Club

On Saturday, February 13, from noon to 2 pm, Newtown Woman's Club will host a book signing by local bestselling author Nan Rossiter. The event, which will include High Tea to honor Ms Rossiter, will take place at Newtown Country Club, 2 Country Club Road.Rugby & Rosie and The Fo'C'sle: Henry Beston's Outermost House.The Gin & Chowder Club, which is set on Cape Cod, was published in 2011. She has since published Words Get In the Way, More Than You Know, Under A Summer Sky and Nantucket.

Cost is $15 per person, which will include scones, small sandwiches and sweets, and a selection of teas also from which to choose.

Ms Rossiter is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a degree in illustration. After freelancing for several years she began writing and illustrating books for children, including

Ms Rossiter's first adult novel,

She is reportedly putting the finishing touches on her next book, due to be released in July 2016.

Copies of Ms Rossiter's books will be available for purchase during the Woman's Club event.
