Students, faculty, and staff all made their way into the cafetorium at Head O' Meadow Elementary School on Wednesday, May 4, to participate in Project ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously), a national event to promote fitness.projectaces.com.

Physical education teacher Steve "Coach" Dreger led the school through exercises from the cafetorium's stage, with help from student volunteers who demonstrated moves.

"This is Project ACES," Coach Dreger said at the start of the event. "Thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands are exercising right now."

Coach Dreger told the school community if anyone got tired during the exercising program, they should march in place.

"Nobody is to stop moving," he said.

Project ACES takes place on the first Wednesday in May as part of National Fitness and Sports Month and National Physical Education Week, according to the movement's website,
