To The Editor:so grateful that dozens of people volunteered their time and resources to make the event memorable. We are so appreciative to Montana Calloway (Jessica's riding instructor) and Heidi Calloway (Montana's mom) for their efforts to put this together from start to finish, for the fourth year in a row. Thank you to Kat King and her barn, King's Bridge Farm, and all of her friends who rallied together to provide horses for this special day. And thank you to Julie Laughlin, Linda Steinberg and Gina Lynn Brice for their instrumental help in planning and organizing.loved, and for showing us that Jessica is remembered and loved.

We'd also like to thank the talented face painters, hair braider, the bakers who donated baked goods, Eric Rook for donating the horseshoes for the children to paint, the donors who provided prizing for the auction and raffle, and our volunteers helping with arts and crafts, the horseless horse show, the grill, the bake sale and the auction.

We could not have had such a successful event without the staff of the Second Company Governor's Horse Guard who not only helped plan the event, but also allowed us to use their property, barns, buildings and horse. And thank you to the young men and women of the Newtown Police Explorers for their help, too.

We could not have done this without the efforts of so many people who volunteered their time for our daughter. Thank you for helping us celebrate Jessica at an event that she would have
