Help Rockaway Get Back On Their Dancing Feet, 4–7 pm, Graceful Planet, 7 Berkshire Road, moving arts center is accepting donations of new and gently used dancewear and shoes to send to dance school in Rockaway, N.Y., continues until at least November 24, call for additional drop-off times; 203-426-8215.

Newtown Hikers: Thanksgiving Weekend open hike, 9 am, meet at Edmond Town Hall lower rear parking lot, 45 Main Street, free, meet group to meet group if interesting in local hike (no formal plan for this weekend), children welcome accompanied by adults, bring lunch and beverage, sturdy shoes or boots recommended, call hike leader if weather is questionable; 203-788-1398.
