NFA has joined forces with Newtown High School's boys' cross country team to create a dual beneficial charity event. Newtown's first Cross Country 5K (XC 5K) will take place at Holcombe Hill Preserve, 65 Great Hill Road, on Saturday, May 21, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Registration is $35, and the contribution to NFA is tax-deductible. Participants are asked to arrive between 8 and 9 am to sign in.

There is no rain date. Heavy rain or thunder and/or lightning will cancel the event.
