Final Charter Revision Public Forum Planned

The last of three Charter Revision informational forums will take place Thursday, November 3, at 7 pm, in the meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street. The public is invited to learn more about proposed changes to the town charter, which will be voted on, Election Day, November 8.

Details about the proposed changes can be found in the October 26, 2016 story, "Charter Revision Promotes Competing For Voters' Attention."

To review all charter revisions as proposed, visit newtown-ct.gov, select Boards and Commissions, then Charter Revision Communications Committee Informational Pamphlet.

Printed copies of the pamphlets are also available in the front office of The Bee Publishing Company, 5 Church Hill Road.
