Evelyn C. Becker died on January 13, at Maefair Health Care Center in Trumbull. She was born in Bridgeport to Susan and Anthony Cuvitilo. She was the wife of the late W. Rex Becker, who predeceased her in 1975.

Her sisters, Yolanda Dorrian of Newtown and Mitzi Bonvini Friedman of Fairfield, as well as her beloved nephews and nieces, who were like her children, survive her. Her brother, Hugh M. Cuvitilo, predeceased her.

She attended local schools and graduated from Weylister Junior College for Girls in Milford. Mrs Becker enjoyed a long and active career in fundraising in New York City and also worked at Fairfield University, and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport and then Fairfield.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 18, at 10 am, meeting directly at St Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Road, Fairfield.

There will be no prior calling hours.
