Environmental Council Seeks Input

HARTFORD — The Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) will hold a public forum on Wednesday, November 28, at 9:30 am, in Room 1C of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. The purpose of the forum is to hear from the public on recommendations for environmental legislation for 2013.

As part of its duty to report to the governor and the public on the status of Connecticut’s environment, the CEQ is required to offer recommendations to correct deficiencies in the state’s environmental laws. The public is invited to comment on the council’s draft and to recommend additions to the list.
