The Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation invites the public to help wild animals "settle in" for the winter at the Old Farm Road sanctuary property during its next Sunday at The Sanctuary program.

Activities on Sunday, November 27, from noon to 3 pm, include hayrides, pumpkin chucking, Native American folklore, nature walk, backyard birding, animal art lessons, live waterfowl exhibition, and adoptable rescues. Participants can build bird feeders, bunny brush caves, or fairy and gnome houses.

Hot cocoa, doughnuts, and baked goods will be available. Weather appropriate clothing is recommended.

The event is free, but donations of salt licks, bird food, nuts, bird feeders, and grass hay are appreciated.

Parking is at the end of Old Farm Road, beyond the dog park. Hay rides will start at the bridge.

RSVP to info@cvhfoundation.org or 866-620-8640.
