Charles Leonard Miller, 65, of Gem, Kan., died August 21, at his home. He was born April 27, 1951, in Bridgeport, to Charles and Gertrude Broas Miller. He lived most of his life in Connecticut, where he worked as a crane mechanic at Cilco. He moved to Kansas in 1992.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Monica; son and daughter-in-law Jeffery and Jennifer Miller of Milford; brother Leslie Miller of Newtown; and his sister and brother-in-law Leonore and Frank Mucciacciaro of Orange; four grandchildren of Milford; and several nieces and nephews, in both Connecticut and Kansas. His brothers, Pfc Ronald Miller, USMC, and Keith Miller predeceased him.

All services were held in Kansas.
