Carol Ann (Butler) Novella, 61 of Waterbury, and a Newtown native, died May 16 at Waterbury Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born in Bridgeport, January 1, 1955, and was the daughter of the late June and John Butler.www.honanfh.com.

A graduate of Newtown High School, she had a great love of music, and loved to sing. Ms Novella worked at Danbury Hospital for more than 30 years before retiring.

Her loving sons Bryan, and his wife Denise, of Gulfport, Miss., and Matthew of Woodbury; her cherished grandson Russell; her sister Linda Stephenson of Milford; brother John, and his wife Joann, of Roxbury; and many nieces and nephews survive Ms Novella.

Family and friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Monday, May 23, from 5 to 8 pm. A service will be held at 7:30 pm. Interment will be held at a later date.
