To the Editor:

Mitch Bolinsky is everything you could ever hope for in a state representative. He reaches across the aisle in a bipartisan handshake to do what is best for Newtown and the citizens of Connecticut, which can be a rare quality with elected officials.

Our family owns a small business of 100 percent made in the USA Toys (Luke's Toy Factory) and we understand all too well the pitfalls of doing business in Connecticut. Mitch Bolinsky also understands the problems businesses large and small face, and is endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business Association, the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (an economy, HR, jobs, and legislature group), and the EBIA, which promotes job creation, economic growth, fiscally responsible government, and a competitive business climate.

Mitch Bolinsky is also endorsed by the 43,000 teachers and retired teachers of the Connecticut Education Association and has recently won recognition from the Newtown Board of Education for his work in restoring funds to special education in our district. He also has the endorsement of Connecticut Realtors, the people who know what it takes to have wonderful and strong communities.

On the other hand, Eva Zimmerman wants to implement policies that would drive small businesses out of Connecticut. New York State is offering a tax-free ten years to corporations that move there, and they are right down the road.

Keep businesses in Connecticut. Vote for Mitch Bolinsky.
