Seth Hull and Oggeri pitched well over the final four innings, allowing just three hits.

BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 11, DANBURY 7: Seth Hull (2B, 3B) and Pete Oggeri (2B, 3 RBI) banged out three hits apiece as Bob Tender defeated Danbury. Greg Kraushaar had a pair of hits and two RBI while Eric Rodriquez, Steve Moulthrop and Jeff Fulton all drove in runs. Rodriquez and Colin Cienewa turned double plays at second base and Moulthrop hauled in two long outfield drives.

NEWTOWN CAR WASH 13, MITCHELL ARCHITECTURAL GROUP 4: Michael Murphy, Jared Modzelewski and Colin O’Connor powered the Newtown Car Wash to the win. Ryan Boucher, Tucker LaPak and Scudder Baggett were solid in the field. For Mitchell, Brian Conroy and Frances Oggeri led the offense as Tommy Santella and Chris Elias pitched well. Drew Adamek and Scott Suhoza were strong in the field.

NICK’S RESTAURANT 8, NEWTOWN CAR WASH 5: Kevin Jurasek had a pair of hits and two RBI to pace Nick’s Restaurant to the win. Tony Galluci had a hit and two RBI and Kurtis Liska had one hit and one RBI. Tyler Tarantino and Cody Shpunt both played well in the field. For Car Wash, Tucker LaPak, Brian Shimko and Michael Murphy had two hits apiece. Colin O’Connor, Aron Fay and Ryan Boucher all had good games.

Tyler Tarantino and Chris Tomasek hit the ball well while Tony Gallucci, Joe DeVellis and Kevin Cahalane combined on a one-hitter. Cody Shpunt made a sparkling defensive play. For Chartwells, Sean Ryan, Dan Murdoch and Greg Larnerd played well.

CHARTWELLS 7, MITCHELL ARCHITECTURAL 1: Kevin Saage, Jesse Furphy and Danny Murdoch pitched a solid game while Rob Simone and Greg Larnerd sparked the offense to lead Chartwells to the win. Bobby Lapple and Blake Barreto played well in the field. For Mitchell, Scott Suhoza pitched a solid game while Scott Shannon and Jason Smith hit the ball hard. Tommy Santella played well in the field.

GRUCE TILE 17, BISCOE EXCAVATING 14: Allen Hubbard belted a home run and Greg Gruce, Mike Frattaroli, Matt Coletti and Zack Seaman helped lead the Gruce Title offensive attack in the win. Max Hoagland and Jon Kemph powered Biscoe at the plate while Sean Myslewski pitched well.

GRUCE TITLE 12, CLASSIC DESIGN 2: Greg Gruce and Mike Frattaroli combined on the mound for a masterful pitching performance, leading Gruce to the victory. At the plate, Carlos Fuentes knocked in three runs and Stephan Poulin knocked in two. Joel Minalgo and Graham Moeller also played well. For Classic, Pat Daly (double and triple) and Adam Nanavaty played well.

GRUCE TITLE 16, BISCOE EXCAVATING 15: Facing a 9-2 deficit, Gruce rallied back with a bases-loaded double by Zack Seaman and the clutch hitting of Stephan Poulin and Mike Frattaroli (game-winning hit). Joel Minalgo had some alert baserunning to help the cause. Greg Gruce made a sparkling defensive play at first. For Biscoe, Jacob Rebb powered the offense while Jimmy O’Brien played well in the field and Sean Myslewski pitched well.

DRUG CENTER 19, JURMAN METRICS 10: Kevin Davies and Alex Dahlmeyer doubled while Jeff Correa, Croy Carlin and Mike Shannon had two hits apiece to lead Drug Center to the win. Jeff Peterson, Zack Leighton and Anthony Klabonski sparked the defense. For Jurman, Erik Jurman had a bases-loaded triple and Chris Meier singled and doubled to lead the offense. Austin Heil and Timmy Cauley led the defense while Sam Paproski, Dan Fiscella and Ryan Wilson shared the mound duties.

WALKER INDUSTRIAL 29, AUTOMATED SECURITY SYSTEMS 7: Ryan Drummond and Danny Curtis banged out three hits apiece while Adam Feldman and Collin Babbage had two hits apiece to lead Walker Industrial. Billy Tierno, Dan Cassidy and Kevin Caruso played well in the field. For Automated, Nick Smith belted a home run and Andy Kirner had a pair of doubles to power the offense. Dan DeLaVega and Matt Saxonmeyer played well.

WELLFLEET FINANCIAL 9, BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 6: Andil Ansari, Patrick Dunseith, Stephen Sapienza had two hits apiece to lead Wellfleet to the win. Tom Selleck recorded the win on the mound and Chris Reid pitched two strong innings. For Brautigam, Luke Dugger belted a home run and a single and pitched three innings of six-strikeout ball to lead the way. Dan Bunger was solid behind the plate.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE 10, J&J POOL 3: Kevin Bonacci slugged a grand slam homer and Kris Arndt banged out a pair of singles to lead Newtown Hardware. RJ and Rob O’Donnell played well in the field and Charlie Kerr pitched a solid game. For J&J, AJ Ritchie, Jake Wolf and Johnny Gouveia played well.

NEWTOWN BEE 13, NATALIA KERLER 0: Maxwell Muraskiewicz pitched four innings of shutout ball, striking out nine to lead the Bee to the win. Muraskiewicz also belted a pair of doubles while Joe Selezan and Brian Carroll helped power the offense. Mike Poeltl and Judd Baggett made solid defensive plays. For Natlia Kerler, Charlie Lobosco and Pete Wlasuk played well.

TAUNTON PRESS 11, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 4: Brian Kuruc and Robbie Phillips powered the offense and helped lead Taunton Press to the win. Evan Barreto and Adam Lanza were stellar in the field while Trevor Todd and Michael Coates had fine pitching performances. For Tendler, George Zaruba pitched well and led the offensive attack. Matt Iassogna and John Metcalf held the defense together.

TAUNTON PRESS 7, EDWARDS CONSTRUCTION 5: Trevor Todd and Zach Faurote fueled a 23-hit attack by each going 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Taunton Press. Osker Dean and Cameron Gehrman sparkled in the field as Tyler Davenport and Jeffrey DiNicola pitched well. For Edwards, Tim Dalton, Kyle Droniak, Tyler Edwards, Brian Cawley, Matt Hamilton and Anthony Grure all played well.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE 5, NEWTOWN BEE 1: Rob O’Donnell and Kevin Bonacci each banged out a single to lead Newtown Hardware. Mac Fuller and Charlie Kerr led the defense while Andrew Meisel pitched a beautiful game, striking out 14 batters. For the Bee, Brian Carroll doubled while Jeff and Joe Selezan were solid in the field, Kurt Nacewicz pitched three strong innings.
