To the Editor:

I would like to highlight some of the many reasons I will be voting for Daniel O'Grady for Northern Fairfield County Judge of Probate in the Republican primary on August 9. Not only is he the most experienced candidate, but he is a genuinely caring person who listens to people's needs and concerns.

With 20 years of experience as Bethel's Judge of Probate, Dan is intimately familiar with the demands of a judgeship. His experience will translate directly into the county judge position and allow him to be effective as a county judge immediately. He has also held various positions in town government and as town counsel, which means he understands the government structure and knows how to get things done.

Dan also understands that the probate system can be confusing, which often adds to people's stress level at an already stressful time. Dan is an excellent listener and carefully considers differing points of view. He is trustworthy and kind.

I urge Republicans to vote for him in the primary on August 9. Should he win, I hope all voters will recognize his outstanding qualities in the fall election.

Sincerely

Maryann Healey
