Members of the All Star Batting baseball team celebrated their Babe Ruth 13-year-old Prep League championship.
The All Star Batting baseball team went undefeated throughout the playoffs to win the Babe Ruth 13-year-old Prep League championship recently.
It was a total team effort with outstanding pitching, timely hitting and solid, error-free defense to capture the tournament title with back-to-back one-run victories both over Caraluzzi's (6-5), followed by a come from behind (5-4) victory.
Dean Demers, Colin Dutt and Ryan Errico led the pitching staff. Brock Chimileski, Alex Lapinski and Jack Martin contributed key hits and runs batted in. The defense was anchored by Tom Floros, Matt Hoyt, Dean Lindquist and Nick Madden.
