Organic Farmers’ Market Forced Back To Sandy Hook

The Sandy Hook Organic Farmers Market returns to the parking area behind St John's Episcopal Church on Washington Avenue as of Tuesday, July 7, from 2 to 6 pm.

The market had been held for the previous two weeks on the property of Lexington Gardens on Church Hill Road at the invitation of Lexington Gardens manager Brett Thomas.Organizer.

Mary Fellows was notified late this week that a Farmers Market was in violation of the zoning regulations of the Borough of Newtown.
